LH Marthinusen provides precision mechanical manufacturing services that support the repair, refurbishment and rebuilding of critical industrial equipment. Our facility produces precision engineered components and mechanical assemblies used in rotating machines, industrial fans and transformers. Both custom components and OEM matched parts are manufactured to meet specific operational and dimensional requirements.
Our workshop supports a wide range of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, enabling the production of specialised components required for heavy industrial equipment and plant operations.
About LHM Manufacturing
Our manufacturing facility is equipped with CNC machining centres, manual lathes, precision welding bays and dynamic balancing equipment. These capabilities allow the production of components including shafts, impellers, end shields, brackets, housings and custom fabricated frames.
LH Marthinusen also manufactures electrical coils for DC machines, traction equipment and both low and high voltage rotating electrical machines. Transformer coils are produced to IEC specifications using horizontal and vertical winding machines and specialised insulation materials. Rotating machine coils are looped, machine taped and formed using resin lean and resin rich processes with comprehensive insulation and surge testing.
Additional capabilities include wire drawing and conductor covering using high conductivity copper, lamination manufacture for stators, rotors, armatures and pole shoes, and the manufacture and refurbishment of commutators, sliprings, for mining and industrial applications.
