LH Marthinusen manufactures precision laminations for use in rotating electrical machines and associated equipment. These laminations form a critical part of machine construction and are produced to meet defined dimensional and material specifications, supporting consistent performance and reliable operation.

Manufacturing Capability

Our facility is equipped with specialised machinery that enables accurate, repeatable and efficient lamination production. Key equipment includes:

  • Trumpf® Trumatic dual head laser cutter
  • De coiler and cut to length line
  • Spot welding equipment for end and vent plates

These systems support consistent cutting quality and production across a range of lamination types and sizes.

Lamination Products

We manufacture a variety of lamination components to suit different machine configurations, including:

  • Stator laminations

  • Pole shoes

Production capabilities support components up to a maximum diameter of 1.2 metres, allowing application across a wide range of machine sizes.

Materials and Specifications

A range of materials is available to meet specific application and operating requirements, including:

  • M400-50A Suralac 7000 coated core steel
  • Mild steel up to 20 mm thickness
  • Stainless steel up to 12 mm thickness
  • Aluminium up to 16 mm thickness

Material selection is based on performance requirements and operating conditions.
