Rotor Balancing

LH Marthinusen provides dynamic rotor balancing services to support the reliable operation of rotating equipment used in industrial environments. Proper rotor balancing helps reduce vibration, improve mechanical stability and maintain consistent operating performance across a wide range of machines.

Balancing Equipment and Capacity

Our workshop is equipped with three dynamic balancing machines from Schenck, IRD and Coetz. These machines enable accurate balancing of components with varying sizes and operating speeds.

Balancing capabilities include:

  • Rotors operating at 3,000 rpm with a capacity of up to 1.5 tonnes
  • Rotors operating at 1,860 rpm with a capacity of up to 6 tonnes
  • Larger components operating at 375 rpm with a capacity of up to 36 tonnes

Components We Balance

These systems allow our teams to work with a wide range of rotating components used in industrial machinery. Components balanced in our facility include:

  • Fans
  • Rotors
  • Impellers
  • Crushers
  • Turbine components

Each component is assessed and corrected using controlled balancing procedures to achieve stable rotational performance.

Balancing services are carried out within a controlled workshop environment using specialised equipment and experienced technical personnel. By ensuring correct rotor balance, LH Marthinusen helps reduce excessive vibration, support smoother operation and maintain the mechanical integrity of rotating machinery used in demanding industrial applications.
