Our transformer repair facility is fully equipped to handle repairs and refurbishments for transformers ranging from 10kVA to 200MVA at 275kV, including reactors and regulators. Our advanced equipment and expert technicians ensure that your transformer components are returned to full operational capacity, adhering to the highest industry standards

Facility Features:

  • 160-Ton Overhead Crane Capacity
    Our facility is capable of handling large transformers, allowing us to manage even the most complex repair and refurbishment projects efficiently and safely.

  • Automated Vacuum Ovens
    Equipped with nitrogen injection and oil spraying processing, our three vacuum ovens ensure that all active parts of the transformers are dried to the highest standards before tanking. This process is critical for ensuring the longevity and reliability of transformer components.

  • Test Bay Facility
    Our test bay can perform tests up to 350kV and 200Hz, ensuring that all transformers are tested in compliance with IEC and BS standards

  • Pressurised Electrical Assembly Facility
    Our pressurised assembly area allows for precise and safe electrical assembly, reducing the risk of contamination and ensuring the highest levels of build quality for all transformer components.

  • MV Impulse Test Facility
    We also provide medium-voltage impulse testing to ensure that your transformers can withstand electrical stresses and meet all required safety standards.
    In addition to repairs and refurbishments, LH Marthinusen specializes in the manufacture of furnace, rectifier, dry type, and distribution transformers, as well as the complete repair of both underground and surface miniature substations. We offer end-to-end services to ensure that your transformers continue to operate efficiently, regardless of the application.

We offer custom transformer design services to meet your specific operational requirements. We design and manufacture transformers up to 80MVA and 275kV to match customer specifications, ensuring tailored solutions that provide reliable performance in demanding environments.
