LHM Denver recently completed an on-site rewind of a hydro generator stator for a Central African power producer. Working in adverse conditions and against an extremely tight schedule, work was completed on time and in line with stringent technical and quality requirements. The coils used in the repair were manufactured in the Johannesburg coil facility.
It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden passing of Mr Wheakham Sutton, our General Manager of the Manufacturing division. Although Wheakham had only been in the LHM family for a little over 3 years, his entire career had been spent in the motor repair industry, predominantly as a coil manufacturing specialist. His absence will leave a big hole at LHM and the industry at large and we offer heartfelt condolences to family and friends alike.
