With a BSc Elec. Eng. from Wits University (1993), Robert's career includes ten years with ABB, and LHMarthinusen since 2006; focussing on rotating electrical machine design, failure analysis, diagnostics and maintenance - including contributions in national and international courses, conferences and technical papers. Robert is currently chairperson of the SAIEE's Rotating Machines Working Group and SABS's Technical Liaison Committee (TC2) to the IEC.
