A 41.2MVA, 220KV, Generator transformer from Botswana Power Corporation, Morupule Power Station was sent to the LHM Transformer facility during March 2008 for a complete rewind.  Due to Eskom`s load shedding at the time, Botswana Power Corporation was experiencing difficulty in meeting electricity demand and getting this transformer back into the system in the soonest time possible would lessen the burden on the power grid.

LHM agreed to accept a contractual delivery period of 24 weeks.  Despite having to source the required insulation materials from Sweden, LHM has maintained the promised delivery schedule and the unit is due to be transported back to Botswana during the third week of September 2008.
