This department manufactures boards and tubes from silicone and epoxy impregnated glass cloth, resin impregnated Kraft paper and cotton cloth. The boards and tubes are manufactured to G7 - silicone and G 11 epoxy specifications. The G7 with its 220°C temperature rating is used mainly in the furnace industry while the G 11 is commonly used for the manufacture of slot wedges, blocks etc. Paper tubes and boards are commonly used in the manufacture and repair of transformers.
